Review
I was immediately hooked after picking this book up and reading the back for the synopsis. The concept was so unique and is rarely done in mystery novels. The feeling of stress was all that was described really well. The different personalities and perspectives of the novels were cool because as I was reading it shows how each character affected the mystery. The twist and turns of the novel are classic murder mystery fashion, so it was nice to see how the structure didn't really change. The structure of each chapter was done well and kept me on track with what is going on. The fact that this was a debut novel is asyonishing to me and I think the author is on the right track.
Due to the body jumping, there were moments when I was getting confused. Seven people are hard to keep up with and the stories sometimes didn't make sense nor lined up with each other. The descriptions of each character was very detailed, but very complex sometimes. There was also a slow start and moments that made me question whose story I was reading and what are they talking about. With a concept like this I think there is going to be those moments of confusion. I also think that there were certain characters that could have been cut completely.
