Synopsis
"The Good Nurse tells the story of Charlie Cullen, a nurse who was arrested for the deaths of almost 30 patients. It also follows his friend and fellow nurse Amy Loughren who, after a series of mysterious deaths, must figure out what’s going on. Unfortunately, it points to her friend and she must reckon with what he’s done.
Charlie came into Amy’s life when she needed him most. She’s suffering from a heart condition, is a single mother, and struggles to help all her patients in the ICU. When he arrives, she feels like she finally has someone to confide in. That is until she realizes he’s killing their patients and she must get to the truth"

All the praise that this film reviewed is well deserved. As I was watching this movie all I could think about is the fact that this film is based on a true story and a real serial killer. The emotions that were displayed by the actors were raw. The disgust I felt is what a movie is supposed to do. Also, the production and editing of the film were well thought through. It really encapsulated the eerie and creepy feeling of the situation. When the truth comes out about Charlie it completely shifts the reaction of the audience. This felt more like a drama to me than a thriller, but there were some thriller-ish factors. Such as the mystery and the question of whether is Charlie going to get caught. Overall, this is a great film and I really don't have anything too negative to say about the film. It starts off slow, but I think that that is needed for the situation.

I give this film 5/5 stars, the first five stars of this year. I do recommend this film to viewers.
